Mirajul Hossain’s Research Visit at UWI St. Augustine

Mirajul Hossain, an MScEng researcher with the Reefs4Protect project, has concluded a two-month research visit at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine, working under the guidance of co-supervisor Dr. Deborah Villarroel-Lamb. The visit advanced collaborative work on nature-based coastal protection for shoreline resilience.

The visit was funded by the Marine Institute, Ireland, supporting cross-regional collaboration on coastal resilience. Hossain also acknowledged the mentorship of his primary supervisor, Dr. Salauddin, whose guidance contributed to the project’s technical direction.
